Control of Wettability of Solid Surfaces

Wettability of solid surfaces have been considerably studied for a long time because they are useful in the adhesive bonding process. The control over wettability has raised much interest, both from the perspective of developing practical applications and from that of fundamental science, thus contributing substantially to energy-saving technology.

In NTFL, The control of wetting behavior of liquid droplets on surfaces is undertaken by modifying the surface micro and nanostructure or functionalizing the surface with an active layer.
